HYDRAULIC SHORING AND BRACING SYSTEM FOR SAFE EXCAVATIONS
With our hydraulic bracing and reinforcement system, we at terra Infrastructure offer an innovative solution for the safe and economical reinforcement of excavation pits in civil engineering, infrastructure, and structural engineering projects. Developed in accordance with DIN EN 14563, our system connects the highest safety standards with maximum flexibility and sustainable reusability.
Thanks to its modular design, the system can be quickly adapted to different excavation geometries and site conditions. The hydraulic adjustment allows for precise adaptation directly on-site and significantly reduces installation time and material costs.
A key safety feature of our system: All hydraulic components come standard with a mechanical fail-safe. Even when not required, this feature provides additional safety during operation and ensures that the components continue to function properly even in the event of a hydraulic pressure loss.
In addition, the hydraulic bracing systems can be suspended from Chains in accordance with DIN EN 14563. As a result, the use of welded brackets on Sheet piles is often not necessary, which significantly reduces installation effort and provides additional flexibility on the site.

Flexible Solution for Excavation Shoring

The hydraulic struts of the 305 UC series form the central element of our excavation shoring and bracing system and allow for flexible adaptation to a wide variety of excavation shapes.

Thanks to its modular design, bracing elements ranging from 0.5 to 6 meters in length can be combined. The hydraulic stroke of the cylinders, approximately 600 mm, ensures precise adaptation to the specific excavation geometry.

With a bearing capacity of up to 600 kN (approx. 60 metric tons), the hydraulic bracing offers high performance for a wide variety of applications in civil engineering and infrastructure construction.

The individual elements are assembled using bolted and thread fittings, which generally eliminates the need for time-consuming welding work. This allows both the installation and dismantling of the excavation shoring to be carried out particularly quickly and efficiently.

A particular advantage of our system: The extension elements of the 305 UC series feature integrated cleats. This allows diagonal braces to be connected directly without requiring additional welding work. This reduces installation effort and increases flexibility during reinforcement of the excavation.

Our 400 Series hydraulic bracing systems provide the necessary stability within the excavation pit. Thanks to their symmetrical design, they achieve a significantly higher bearing capacity than traditional steel beams.

With a design resistance of up to 2,500 kN, these bracing systems are particularly well-suited for excavation pits with large spans. At the same time, they can be flexibly installed horizontally, diagonally, or upright.

Hydraulic adjustment allows for quick adaptation to the specific conditions at the site and significantly reduces installation effort.

Thanks to their special geometry, our hydraulic bracing systems represent an economical alternative to traditional bracing systems made of steel beams or tubular bracing, which often require oversized dimensions due to the need for buckling resistance.
